Grounds to be vetted

PROMOTION to divisions 1 and 2 of the GB Liners Marches League will be subject to a ground inspection by members of the Executive or the Grounds Committee, it was agreed at the league’s annual meeting.

It was also confirmed that all teams will be required to enter their results on the Play-cricket website by 2359 hours on the Monday following a match. Failure to do so will result in fines.

PROPOSED DIVISIONS FOR 2009 Division 1: Luctonians, Bartestree, Goodrich, Crickhowell, Builth Wells, Garnons, Kington 3rd, Llandrindod Wells, Herefordians, Woolhope.

Division 2: Glangrwyney, Ledbury, Strollers, Bosbury, Marden, Goodrich 2nd, Hereford City, Talgarth, Shobdon, Weobley.

Division 3: Colwall, Moccas, Lads Club, Garnons 2nd, Hay, Luctonians 2nd, Presteigne, Dales, Almeley, Ewyas Harold.

Division 4: Ledbury 2nd, Bartestree 2nd, Woolhope 2nd, Builth Wells 2nd, Eastnor 3rd, Knighton, Abergavenny Beavers, Hereford City 2nd, Bishops School O B, Strollers 2nd.

Division 5: Shirebulls, Lads Club 2nd, Wormelow 3rd, Kington 4th, Brockhampton 3rd, Colwall 4th, Weobley 2nd, Bartestree St Mary’s, Luctonians 3rd, Ross-on-Wye 3rd.
